What information is being collected?

In order to build this movement, we ask you to submit certain personal information, such as your name, email and zip code. We use that information to personalize your experience with our organization, and to provide you with information pertaining to events, local happenings, news, and some campaign related information and updates.

When you make a financial contribution to Friends of Robbyn Lewis, we are required by Maryland State Law to collect certain information, including your full name, address, and employment information.

How is the information collected being used?

We use the information we collect to personalize your interaction with Delegate Robbyn Lewis and her future campaigns. Some information may be used, or transmitted to third parties (most commonly, to other elected officials in our city who we feel strongly enough to support), to further personalize your interactions with our campaign. We do not sell your information.

How can I control the use of my information?

We do not advertise on our site. We do not sell your information. If you’d like to receive our emails less frequently, or opt-out, or unsubscribe to any of our mailing lists, click on the links in our email footer (pictured).

Is my information secure?

We make every effort to protect and secure all user data and information. A third party service (ActBlue) collects user credit card information is served over a secure socket layer (SSL), and encrypted by a signed and valid certificate. No credit card information is stored in our database, or on our website, and we never see or interact with your credit card information.

Cookie information may be infrequently used to customize your interaction with our site, and to provide you with the best possible experience. A cookie is a tiny text file that is placed on your hard drive, and does not contain any personal information about you. These text files cannot be used by us, or anyone else, to access information that you have not voluntarily provided to us.

We reserve the right to make changes to this policy at any time, but honestly, that’s suuuuper unlikely.  Seriously, we almost forgot to put one of these on the website in the first place.

If any changes to this policy are made, the date that the revised or updated policy is posted to this site will appear below. But seriously, it’s not likely to happen.
